Below are some short answers to questions that we find are top-o-mind for our users. Why didn’t I get an activation code? If you are a Verizon user, see ‘Mobile Carrier Information’ at the bottom of this page.  For all other users, please text JOIN to 82442 and you should receive your activation code.  Something may have gone wrong or we might not cover your specific carrier.  We are aiming to support every carrier in the world, but we are not there yet.  If you would like us to manually activate your account or find out why you could not activate, please email support@tagga.com telling us your tagga user id and mobile carrier.

Is your service compatible with AT&T products? Why yes, our service is compatible with all AT&T products capable of sending and receiving SMS messages.

Do I get charged when I text something to 82442? Tagga does not charge mobile users a single penny! However, standard text message charges apply, which is between you and your mobile service provider.

Once I give tagga my phone number, are you going to use it for your own marketing or sell it to someone else who will? No, definitely not! We respect your privacy and we believe in our business model. That means that your mobile number is safe with tagga. We do not sell or use your number for any marketing or sales purposes. We built tagga for mobile users so that they can get, share and store information that is meaningful to them.

How can I advertise on tagga? Tagga offers advertisers numerous ways to reach mobile users in a manner that is relevant, direct and consumable. Advertisers can choose to setup their own SMS campaign or sponsor free user-created messages that are relevant to their business. To learn more, click on the Advertise page.

What does it mean to follow a fellow tagger? When you elect to follow a fellow tagger, that means you are interested in the stuff that they are tagging. Each time the person you are following posts something, it will appear on your ‘my taggs’ page. You can discontinue following someone and remove them from ‘your followed’ page instantly.

Mobile carrier information

Tagga monitors the development of content to ensure that appropriate content passes through its systems.
For more information, please see our terms of service.  Tagga does not charge any fees to wireless users. Wireless users pay for sending or receiving text messages according to their agreement with their wireless service provider.
  1. To stop receiving text messages from Tagga Media, text “STOP” to 82442 (TAGGA)* or email support@tagga.com.
  2. To receive Tagga Media program info text “INFO” to 82442 (TAGGA)* or email support@tagga.com.
  3. To receive help text “HELP” to 82442 (TAGGA)* or email support@tagga.com.

Note: 82442 is only available in the USA and Canada.  82442 is pending approval and is currently not active on Verizon in the USA.  82442 is active on all other carriers in the USA and Canada.

Coverage on +447624803802 is limited to carriers covered by Clickatell.
