Big players are vying for the best positioning they can in the mobile marketplace. Just this week, Yahoo has struck a search deal with AT&T.

Some things may not be going so well at Yahoo! but the company has managed to pull off something of a coup in the mobile marketing arena by striking a search deal with AT&T. The Big deal is that Yahoo will have access to as many as 70 million, (yes, I said 70 million) customers in the US of A. They plan to send news, photos and weather to those phones and I am pretty sure lots of other stuff.

Google also is getting in the act with the “Gphone” (yes, the Google phone), in cahoots with T-Mobile, will be seen soon. They are working on a deal with Verizon.

Here, we are at Tagga, are on the precipice of a huge (yes, I mean huge) marketing opportunity. Search is one way to do it. Enabling businesses and anyone to freely setup mobile campaigns is another approach. We want mobile marketing to be self-serve, easy and cheap - - if not FREE. Yahoo!
